Why Choose Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow?

Finding a good pillow is important to your sleep hygiene, but for many of us, it may take years to find the perfect pillow. With so many pillow types on the market, it is difficult to know where to start. As the newest member of the pillow community, compared with other traditional pillow types, bamboo pillows have become more and more popular due to their soft, environmentally friendly and plastic materials.

Nowadays, bamboo is everywhere. Fibers from fast-growing plants-strictly speaking grass, not trees-are appearing in clothes, bedding, building materials, and other commodities, including pillows.

Why buy bamboo pillows? Some online sources claim that fabrics and pillows made of bamboo are naturally soft, durable and breathable.

They also claim that bamboo is hypoallergenic. This means that it is less likely to cause allergic reactions than other materials.

There is not much reliable research on the health benefits of bamboo pillows. But there is evidence that bamboo fiber—the fiber used in bamboo pillows—has many qualities discussed online.

What is a bamboo memory foam pillow?

A bamboo pillow is a shredded foam pillow whose outer skin is made of bamboo. The inner pillow filling can be made of your favorite bedding material. Because bamboo is considered a sustainable material, you will often find bamboo pillows full of environmentally friendly but still comfortable materials. A popular choice is shredded memory foam bamboo pillows, which are made from leftover mattress memory foam that would otherwise be sent to a landfill. Because bamboo pillows can be stuffed with anything you want, you will find that most of them are adjustable.

It is partly made of bamboo fiber, which comes from the crushed, processed and hardened mixture of bamboo leaves and trunk meat. The bamboo part of the pillow is in the shell, not the filling.

This type of pillow is made of bamboo-based viscose fiber and filled with crushed foam to provide comfort and support. It is speculated that bamboo fiber materials have greater strength than other pillowcases. The crushed foam mold fits your head and neck, providing a better sleeping experience.

What is bamboo?

Most of us may have heard of bamboo, but we don't have much personal experience. That's because bamboo needs a warm and humid climate to grow. It is commonly found in tropical regions around the world, including the vast continents that cover all of Asia, Africa, and South America. In the United States, most bamboo species can be grown deep in the south, and a few more hardy bamboo species grow in the temperate climates of West Virginia and even New Jersey.

Bamboo looks like a small tree, but in fact it is a big grass. This is important-trees are not an eco-friendly and sustainable material because it takes decades or more to grow into a considerable commodity. But one of the main characteristics of grass seeds is that they grow quickly, as anyone with a pasture can attest. And because bamboo is such a big grass, it grows as high as a tree, and some bamboos can grow up to three feet a day! This is a lot of sustainable materials and an excellent environmentally friendly source of things we often use-like pillows!

The bamboo pole is very hard. That's because they are full of a protein called cellulose, which makes the stems grow so strong. In order to make bamboo a more comfortable head surface, bamboo is treated to dissolve cellulose, thereby turning bamboo into fine pulp. This pulp is then woven into a thin thread called rayon. Rayon fiber can be made from wood and other agricultural sources with high cellulose density, but bamboo is the most environmentally friendly raw material. Although the bamboo stems are very hard, rayon fiber made from dissolved bamboo cellulose is one of the smoothest and softest textures available-so much so that it is called rayon!

What are the benefits of sleeping on bamboo foam memory pillows?

In addition to the silky soft texture of bamboo pillows, the physical properties of bamboo rayon fibers create a naturally cool surface. This helps your body maintain the best steady-state temperature during sleep.

The surface of the bamboo pillow is also absorbent while still breathable, which means that if you sleep very hot, the pillow will absorb sweat. Bamboo rayon fiber is also naturally hypoallergenic, making bamboo pillows an excellent choice for people who suffer from asthma, sinus infections or sneezing in the morning. In addition, the pillowcase has an anti-microbial effect, which can form a barrier to protect the pillow core and prevent fungal and bacterial spore colonization.

For these reasons, if you live in a hot and humid climate, bamboo pillows are a particularly good choice.

Some potential health benefits of bamboo memory foam pillows

1.Bamboo naturally absorbs moisture and discharges heat.

The fibers of bamboo plants are hollow, and the small gaps and pores in the bamboo fibers absorb water. They also allow hot air to escape. Compared with other fabrics used to make pillows, bamboo may be better at keeping the sleeper’s head cool and dry.

2.Bamboo fiber is soft and non-static.

Bamboo fiber has natural antistatic and anti-sticking effects. When woven into fabrics, they also tend to be soft and shiny, a bit like cashmere or silk.

3.Bamboo may be antibacterial and hypoallergenic.

There is evidence that bamboo fiber can naturally resist the growth of bacteria. This means that they are unlikely to contain microorganisms that can cause disease or odors. However, some studies on bamboo have not found that it is more antibacterial than cotton.

4.Bamboo is environmentally friendly.

From an environmental point of view, bamboo has some benefits. Compared with trees, bamboo absorbs more carbon dioxide-a greenhouse gas-and produces more fresh oxygen.

How to clean bamboo memory foam pillows?

You can wash bamboo pillows with a washing machine or by hand. For washing bamboo pillows, use warm water or a soft and mild detergent without bleach, which is very suitable for washing these bamboo pillows. You need to use gentle circulation in the machine. Before putting the pillow in the washing machine, be sure to check for any tears or holes in the pillowcase and repair them.

You can wash individual pillows, but you may need to add some towels to the load to keep the machine level.

If you want to clean the pillow locally, use a small amount of warm water and a mild or mild cleanser that does not contain bleach. Gently wipe the area, let it sit for about a quarter of an hour, and then rinse it off.

You can wash by hand, using the same instructions as for warm water and mild detergent. It is not recommended to tighten or twist any pillows, including bamboo pillows.

It is recommended to dry one bamboo pillow at home and put two pillows in the dryer. If you don't have two, a few tennis balls can help loosen the pillow and maintain its shape. Always use subtle cycles when drying.
